2.1 Information You Provide

- Resume data: work experience, education, skills, and other information you enter into the resume builder.
- Job application data: company names, job titles, job URLs, descriptions, locations, and application statuses you track.
- Payment information: if you upgrade to a paid plan, payment details are processed by our third-party payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and interactions with the Service.
- Device information: browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to understand usage patterns.
2.3 Chrome Extension Data
The Aplik Chrome Extension collects job listing data (job title, company, location, description, and URL) from supported websites (currently LinkedIn and Hiring Cafe) only when you explicitly click the “Save to Aplik” button. The extension does not collect browsing history, track your activity on other websites, or access data beyond the specific job listing you choose to save.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Process your resume data with AI to generate tailored resume versions, cover letters, and application responses.

- Authenticate your account and maintain session security.

4. AI Processing
We use third-party AI services to provide resume tailoring, cover letter generation, and other AI-powered features. When you use these features, relevant data (such as your resume content and job descriptions) is sent to our AI provider for processing. We do not use your data to train AI models. Our AI providers process data according to their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
